When are you available?
Evenings and weekends. Send me your reg and the job you need, and we'll find a time that suits you.
Do I need to be home?
It's easiest if you're around at the start and the end so we can go through the job together, but you don't need to stay with me while I work. If you can't be there, we can sort out the keys beforehand.
Can you work at my workplace?
Yes, as long as there's safe, level space and you're allowed to have work done in the car park.
How do I pay?
Card, bank transfer or cash once the job's done. You'll get an invoice with the part numbers listed.
Will using a mobile mechanic affect my car's warranty?
Using an independent mechanic doesn't void your manufacturer's warranty, as long as the car is serviced on schedule with the right oil and good-quality parts. As standard, I quote for good-quality own-brand parts from trusted UK suppliers, which keeps your costs down. If you'd prefer branded parts from the makers that supply the car manufacturers, such as Bosch, Brembo, TRW, Mann or NGK, just ask and I'll quote for those instead. If your car is still under manufacturer warranty, I'd recommend branded parts. I always use the oil your manufacturer specifies and stamp your service book.

I'll show you and give you a price first. Nothing extra is done or added to the bill without your OK.
Can I supply my own parts?
Yes. I'll charge for labour only (£45 minimum). My 12-month labour warranty still applies, but the parts themselves aren't covered by me.
